Rugby4Heroes team closes 2015 with a Rugby Carnival success for our servicemen and women!

The Rugby4Heroes volunteer team are proud to announce that the recent Charity Ball held on 14th November raised a total of £6,161 from the combination of ticket sales, raffles and auctions, and generous donations made in the Poppy Appeal collecting tins on the night. We are delighted with this result which was ahead of our budget for the night and ahead of the 2014 Ball sum raised – so a fitting finale for our annual ball to raise the highest sum ever.

Massive personal thanks from me to all the volunteers who made huge amounts of personal time available to make this event happen, and equally massive thanks to everyone who came and supported our Carnival on the night. The Warwickshire Golf Club staff worked as hard as ever and the entertainers were amazing.

The profits from the event will be split 50/50 between The 353 Trust and the Royal British Legion 2015 Poppy Appeal.

In 2017 we will be joining forces with 353 to host a combined Charity Ball with them at The Guy Nelson Hall, on 11th February 2017. We are taking a year off from Balls next year – except for the Oval ones at our 8th Annual Festival on 13-15 May 2016!

And finally – our cumulative amount raised to date is £71,661 over 7 years of fundraising.

Have a great Christmas everyone!
