Rugby4Heroes donates £3,530 to local Warwickshire Armed Forces Charity, 353!

The Rugby4Heroes team were delighted to present the second of our 2014 Festival donation cheques totalling £3,530 to 353, a local Armed Forces support charity founded in memory of Private Conrad Lewis, sadly lost in Afghanistan on 9th February 2011. This follows on from a donation made to the ABF Soldiers Charity of £3,300 made at the Beating the Retreat Ceremony in London, to Charity President General Sir Mike Jackson.

The total was made up of £3,080 from our Festival profits and an outstanding donation given by Katie Barnes, proprietor of Simply Nails Ltd. (http://www.simplynailsandbeauty.com)  who raised £450 through her SimplyNails4Heroes stall at Rugby4Heroes!

Here you can see Conrad’s Mum and Dad Tony and Sandi receiving their donation cheques from Katie and the Chairman of Old Leamingtonians RFC, Charles A. Sabin Esq.
